Description Creation of a national network for small-scale producers of agro and handicraft products in Egypt within the framework of a Fair Trade organization; support to the small-scale producers network in strengthening their representation and negotiation capacity in terms of institutional building; social security; safety standards; build Fair Trade Egypt Foundation as the first Fair Trade association in Egypt to raise Fair Trade awareness  and advocate for the representation needs of the most marginalized producers
Expected Results 1.      Fair Trade small producers’ system of participation and representation is in place

2.      Welfare Services Unit established and self- sustained by the end of the project

3.      Business Development Services Unit established and self- sustained by the end of the project

4.      Fair Trade Egypt Foundation has been empowered to administer the Fair Trade Network providing small-scale producers with access to basic socio-economics rights recognition

Target Beneficiaries –          3500 Small-scale identified Agro & Handicraft Producers and their Associations

–          500 new Small-scale Agro Producers and Farmers Associations

–          Fair Trade networks in Egypt
